מה חדש ב-ReadMir: הערות גרסה
הערות הגרסה המלאות של ReadMir: כל פיצ׳ר חדש, שיפור ותיקון באפליקציית לימוד הרוסית הזו, באתר ובאנדרואיד, החדש קודם.
2.0.11 — 27 October 2026
- New: The dictionary pop-up now shows declension and conjugation tables in every language, not only where a Wiktionary edition happened to carry them.
- New: Android: the pop-up also shows those tables, the examples and the synonyms underneath "Definitions in Russian", which stays collapsed until you open it.
- Improved: Library filters keep their labels on one line and their chips in their own column, so nothing slides under "Author" or "Status".
- Improved: Android: long answers stay inside their box, sparse conjugation tables are set at a readable size, "Go back to review" and "Answer in Russian" share one row on narrow screens, and the listening exercise's audio button pulses again.
- Fixed: The end-of-scene XP badge sits centred under the score instead of jumping to the left.
- Fixed: Android: the reading font picker no longer cuts "Bad Script" and "Great Vibes" down to their first word.
- Fixed: Georgian and Armenian readers saw some word meanings in English; those are translated now.
2.0.10 — 27 October 2026
- New: Ultra Dark Mode: a pure-black theme for even better night time readability. Switch it on under the newly re-worked themes menu.
- New: The Brothers Karamazov, a complete C2 novel in 96 chapters, with a description for every chapter, a cast of characters and challenges on every scene.
- New: White Nights, a complete C2 novel in 6 chapters, translated into every language ReadMir offers.
- New: Added a toolbar inside the story reader for quicker access to the chapter's description, and the story's character list.
- New: Added 'Show all meanings' and 'Hide all meanings' options to the reader to expand or hide all word-by-word meanings.
- New: Android: a one-time invitation to rate ReadMir on Google Play, with the report an issue and suggest a feature forms on the same card.
- New: Progressive Immersion Mode added in the Read menu, so the Dracula reader is one tap away from any page.
- New: Android: Automatic light / dark mode options added that follow your device theme.
- Improved: Grammar labels now display in all 22 interface languages.
- Improved: ReadMir's own translation for vocab words now shows on the dictionary definition screen which for some locales previously only showed English definitions.
- Improved: Backend changes to improve vocabulary list consistency.
- Improved: UI improvements across various screens.
2.0.9 — 18 October 2026
- New: Ten Chekhov stories — The Beggar, A Good Ending, The Looking-Glass, A Defenceless Creature, Old Age, Frost, Gone Astray, In Trouble, A Troublesome Visitor and The Petchenyeg — with covers, localised titles and descriptions, and reading challenges.
- New: Chekhov is included in the library's Author filter, and his stories carry their own tags on the shelf.
2.0.8 — 17 October 2026
- New: Every story word now shows its grammar under it: the case for nouns, tense and person for verbs, number and gender for adjectives, decided from the sentence so each word shows exactly one reading, never a list of possibilities.
- New: The labels appear in your own language, shortened so they fit under the word.
- New: Invariable words now carry a label too: prepositions, conjunctions, particles, interjections and adverbs that never change shape («и» shows conj. inv, «в» shows prep. inv).
- Fixed: The Words page's Most common sort credited «есть» (to eat) with every story that uses «есть» as a form of «быть» (to be). The ranking now follows real usage.
2.0.7 — 15 October 2026
- New: Notes from Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky has joined the library, translated into every language ReadMir offers. The story brings over two thousand words to the vocabulary pages, with example sentences taken from the book itself.
- New: Stories now credit their author: the byline appears on the library cards and on the home page's continue-reading card, and a new Author filter lets you browse the library by writer. ReadMir's own stories are credited as "ReadMir Original".
- New: The Words page has a new sort menu: Most common (the default, ordered by how many stories a word is read in), Least common, Recommended (the order the page always used), and the alphabet in either direction.
- Improved: Library cards have been rebuilt. The scene and word counts, the progress bar and the level chips now sit together in a footer of their own under the description, always in the same place from card to card. The "Last read" tag moved onto the cover, the coloured band across the top of the card is gone, and the card edges now show what you have at a glance: gold on white for premium stories, a slate edge for free ones.
- Improved: The home page's continue-reading card matches the library cards: the counts and progress bar sit in a grey footer, the translated title always gets its own line, and on wide screens the cover sits in the top corner with the Continue button directly beneath it.
- Improved: Story cards now show the total word count too ("8 scenes · 73 unique words · 131 words in total"), so you can see how long a story is before you start it.
- Improved: A word's "In N stories" line now counts every story whose text actually contains the word, so it matches the stories you find when you tap through.
- Improved: Vocabulary cards that had no example sentence now show one taken from a story where the word appears, with a translation where one is available.
- Improved: Refreshed the wording of most story descriptions in the library.
- Improved: Reworked audio playback on a number of modes to decrease playback latency.
- Improved: Bug reports about silent audio can now attach a short speech log from your device, enough to see what the speech engine did. It contains no spoken words and no personal details, and you can remove it from the report before sending.
- Improved: (Android) A new "Device voice" card in Settings checks whether your phone has a Russian voice installed, and shows the phone-settings steps to install it if it doesn't.
